Function

  • Chat modes (planner, executor, etc.) and model selection.
  • Engagement-scoped context when ?engagement= is set.
  • File attachments.
  • Planner approval cards — human confirms before Maximus mutates canvas or launches actions.
  • Proof verdict cards — Apply/Dismiss inline proposals.
  • Workspace rail: events, artifacts, pending approvals.

Prerequisites

At least one LLM profile configured (Settings → LLM Settings) or environment fallback before Maximus chat works.

Start an engagement-scoped session

  1. From an engagement, click Ask Maximus or open /maximus?engagement=<id>.
  2. Select mode and model in the header.
  3. Ask a question: “Summarize open critical findings” or “Propose kill chain for the API gateway.”
  4. Review tool/action proposals → Approve or Dismiss.

Apply a proof verdict

  1. Maximus returns a proof verdict card in chat.
  2. Review proposed proof state and evidence.
  3. Click Apply to update canvas, or Dismiss to ignore.
